International & United States Sales Compliance Policy

This policy applies to orders shipped outside Canada, including orders shipped to the United States, and forms part of Strobe My Ride’s Terms of Service, Shipping and Delivery Policy, and Return, Refund and Warranty Policy.
🌍 Legal Compliance
Vehicle-lighting laws and regulations vary by country, state, province, territory, municipality and intended application.
By purchasing from Strobe My Ride, you acknowledge and agree that:

You are responsible for determining whether the selected product, colour, flash pattern, mounting location and intended use are legal in your jurisdiction.

Strobe My Ride does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee that a product is legal for every vehicle, application or jurisdiction.

Purchasing warning-lighting equipment does not provide authorization to operate restricted colours or configurations on public roads.

Any SAE, compliance or testing claim applies only where specifically stated on the individual product page.

A product is not eligible for return or refund solely because it cannot legally be used for the purchaser’s intended application or in the purchaser’s jurisdiction.
Customers should verify all applicable federal, state, provincial, territorial and local requirements before ordering.
🚫 Restricted Colours, Applications & Unauthorized Use
Certain warning-light colours, flash patterns and vehicle applications may be restricted to emergency, government, roadside-service, utility or other authorized vehicles.
Strobe My Ride products must not be used to falsely represent or impersonate Police, Fire, EMS or another emergency or government service.
The purchaser and installer are responsible for ensuring that:

The installation location complies with applicable requirements

The vehicle and operator have any authorization required for the intended use

The product is operated only in a lawful manner
Strobe My Ride is not responsible for tickets, fines, enforcement action, vehicle inspections, equipment removal or other consequences resulting from unlawful installation or use.
🇺🇸 United States Orders
Online checkout is available for eligible products shipping to the United States.
Not every product, brand, colour or configuration may be available for U.S. sale or delivery. Strobe My Ride may restrict individual products from U.S. checkout where appropriate.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, United States orders are final sale and are not eligible for change-of-mind returns or exchanges.
Final-sale status does not affect claims involving:

💰 U.S. Duties, Tariffs, Taxes & Import Fees
Products sold by Strobe My Ride may be manufactured outside Canada, and the product’s country of origin may affect U.S. customs duties, tariffs and import charges.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, U.S. customers are responsible for all applicable:

Tariffs

Import taxes

Brokerage charges

Customs-clearance fees

Carrier import-processing fees

Government assessments

Other import-related charges
Where supported, estimated duties or import charges may be calculated and collected during checkout.
If any applicable charge is not collected at checkout, it remains the purchaser’s responsibility and may be collected separately by the carrier, customs authority or another party.
Strobe My Ride does not guarantee tariff or duty estimates because amounts may change based on product classification, declared value, country of origin and applicable government regulations.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, Strobe My Ride does not absorb or reimburse U.S. tariffs, duties, brokerage fees or other import-related costs.
Duties, tariffs, taxes, brokerage fees and other import-related charges are non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.
📦 Refused or Abandoned U.S. Shipments
Refusing delivery or declining to pay applicable duties, tariffs, taxes, brokerage or customs charges does not cancel an order and does not automatically create a right to a refund.
If a U.S. shipment is refused, abandoned, unclaimed or returned because applicable import charges were not paid, the purchaser may be responsible for:

Return-to-sender charges

Duties and tariffs

Brokerage or customs charges

Carrier fees

Storage or handling charges

Reshipping costs

Other non-recoverable expenses
Any refund that is legally required or otherwise approved may be reduced by these costs where permitted by law.
Final-sale products do not become returnable merely because delivery was refused.
🔧 Warranty & Service — U.S. and International Orders
Applicable product warranty coverage continues to apply to eligible U.S. and international orders.
Warranty claims are generally handled through technical support, repair, replacement parts or product replacement, depending on the nature of the defect and applicable warranty.
Customers outside Canada may be responsible for:

Shipping the product to Strobe My Ride or another designated warranty location

Proper packaging and tracking of the warranty shipment

Duties, taxes, brokerage or customs charges associated with sending products across the border
-
Import-related charges associated with returned warranty products where applicable
Strobe My Ride may provide replacement parts instead of requiring the complete product to be returned where doing so is practical.
Full product replacement may be provided where repair or replacement parts are not practical or where otherwise required under the applicable warranty.
Warranty coverage does not include damage resulting from:

Incorrect installation

Improper voltage
-
Incorrect wiring or fusing

Accidents or impact
-
Misuse or abuse
-
Unauthorized modification

Water intrusion caused by improper installation

Operation outside the product’s specifications

📦 Returns — United States Orders
Unless expressly stated otherwise, U.S. orders are final sale.
U.S. orders are not eligible for return or exchange because of:

Change of mind

Ordering the wrong product

Ordering the wrong colour or configuration

Product incompatibility that could reasonably have been determined before purchase

Local legal restrictions

Restricted warning-light colours

Customer preference

Import duties, tariffs or brokerage charges
This does not prevent an eligible claim involving shipping damage, an incorrect product, a confirmed manufacturing defect, applicable warranty coverage or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Customers are encouraged to contact Strobe My Ride before ordering if they are uncertain about compatibility, specifications or application.
🌎 International Orders Outside Canada and the United States
Orders to destinations outside Canada and the United States may be reviewed individually before acceptance.
Unless Strobe My Ride confirms otherwise in writing, international purchasers are responsible for:
